Brian Fricke and his wife, Annette have traveled the world with their two sons, Justin and Adam who had their passports first stamped when they were babies! As they have grown, they began to share a passion for surfing and make every effort to travel to a new country each year for the Father/Son Surf Trip, often with friends who share the same love of adventure, surfing and exploring.

Since 1987 he’s been inspiring a small community of private clients to experience their own version of an Incredible Retirement®.

At the age of 16, Brian became “man of the house” when his father died unexpectedly. He joined the family real estate business at 18. His path to becoming a Fee-Only® financial planner became clear when others sought him out for financial advice after they discovered he had purchased 15 rental properties by the age of 23.

Brian is the Investment Committee Chair of the LCMS Foundation and is on the Board of Trustees of the New Smyrna Beach Firefighters pension fund. He is also the author of two books, “Worry Free Retirement” and a book specifically for Lockheed Martin employees titled “Safe Landings – How Lockheed Martin employees can avoid the turbulence that can crash retirement”.

Using FMC’s 3-step Financial Roadmap process, Brian helps his clients sleep better at night, relieved of the stress and worry of running out of money in retirement.

It failed miserably during the 2000-2003 bear market and the 2008 market meltdown. Our Supply & Demand Investment System® continuously measures demand of various asset classes and only puts money to work in high demand areas, while avoiding (or selling) weak demand areas. Instead of trying to outperform “the market” we focus on avoiding large losses, including temporarily going to cash if/when necessary.

4 Things about Brian That Might Surprise You

  • At the age of 10 Brian started his first business, a neighborhood candy store.
  • Brian’s first “job” was at McDonalds. At the age of 15 he rode his bike to and from work. By 17 he was a shift manager.
  • One of Brian’s primary purposes in life is to serve as a constant source of humor for his family, including Justin’s new wife, Chelsea . They tell him he does a great job, most often without even realizing it.
  • The Richest Man in Babylon” and “The E-Myth Revised” by Michael Gerber are among Brian’s favorite books.

Brian’s Education:

Thanks to his entrepreneurial instincts, Brian knew early on that college wasn’t for him. He got his Real Estate license at 18 (which has since expired). He holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation and is passionate about continuous learning. He even paid his sons to read specific self-improvement and financial books. He continues to participate in various coaching, mentoring and mastermind programs.
